Kieran Shingler, a 26-year-old triathlete from England, initially mistook his aggressive brain tumour symptoms for the flu. Diagnosed with a Grade 3 astrocytoma after experiencing persistent headaches and fatigue, he was given only a year to live. Following surgeries, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy, his tumour remarkably shrank, but it has since returned.
