CBSE released the 10th supplementary result, less than half the students passed, know where to get the marksheet
CBSE has released the result of 10th supplementary examination 2025. This time only 48.68% students have been able to pass, while the digital marksheet is available on DigiLocker.
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has finally released the result of Class 10th supplementary examination on 5 August 2025. This result was awaited by thousands of students who had given this exam due to low marks in one or two subjects in the main examination. Now these students want to know if they have passed, and if yes, then what do they have to do next.
How many students appeared in the exam and passed?
According to the data shared by CBSE, 1,43,648 students had registered for the supplementary examination this year. Out of these, 1,38,898 students appeared in the examination. In the exam result, 67,620 students have passed, which is 48.68% of the total examinees. That is, less than one out of every two students could pass.
Girls performed better than boys this time too. While the pass percentage of boys was 47.41%, girls took the lead with a success rate of 51.04%. One transgender student also passed.
How and where to check the result?
CBSE has given many options to check the result for the convenience of the students. Students can check their result by visiting the official website of CBSE cbse.gov.in and results.cbse.nic.in. Information like roll number, school number and date of birth will be required to see the result.
Apart from this, digital marksheet and pass certificate are also available on DigiLocker app and website. Students who have already created an account in DigiLocker can easily login and download the document. Students can also check their result using UMANG app and SMS facility.
How to get marksheet and certificate?
Students who have passed the supplementary examination will get a new marksheet and pass certificate. This marksheet will be available online in DigiLocker. At the same time, after some time its hard copy can also be obtained from the school. The marks obtained in the supplementary exam will be added to this updated marksheet and it will be considered as the final marksheet.
Application for rechecking and photocopy of answer sheet
CBSE has also announced along with the result that if a student is not satisfied with his/her marks, he/she can apply for rechecking or photocopy of answer sheet. Application for photocopy can be made on 8th and 9th August, while the window for rechecking will be open from 18th to 19th August.
