Dumper Truck Laoded With Gravel Rams Into Tempo In Rajasthan's Bhilwara; CCTV Footage Surfaces

Bhilwara: A dumper truck loaded with gravel rammed into a tempo and fled the scene in Rajasthan's Bhilwara’s Subhash Nagar area on Tuesday, August 5.

Despite intensified police action, the mafia appeared fearless, operating openly and dangerously in full public view. The entire incident was caught on CCTV.

Gravel Mafia Ran Over Villagers in Nagaur Last Month

According to a previous Amar Ujala report, a similarly episode unfolded in Nagaur last month, where members of the gravel mafia allegedly ran camper vehicles over villagers protesting illegal gravel transportation, all in the presence of the police. At least 11 people were seriously injured.

Nagaur MP and RLP supremo Hanuman Beniwal squarely blamed senior officials, including IG Gaurav Srivastava and Mines Department officer DMG Deepak Tanwar, accusing them of shielding the mafia. “These officials are themselves involved in this illegal business and are protecting the mafia,” Beniwal claimed, adding that local BJP leaders and five MLAs were also complicit.

Beniwal Warned of Statewide Unrest

Following public agitation during a recent jan aakrosh rally, the Nagaur administration had reportedly promised action, including drone surveys of illegal gravel stockpiles and FIRs against violators. However, Beniwal said no concrete steps have followed. “Even after the compromise, the mafia attacked protesters. If the administration fails to act, the law and order situation in the entire state could spiral,” he said, as quoted by Amar Ujala.

He also claimed to have spoken to DGP Rajiv Sharma, urging immediate arrests, and instructed RLP leaders Narayan Beniwal and Indira Devi Bawari to visit the site. “If needed, I will personally go,” he added.
