Can’t tax cars from military canteens at mkt price, govt told

The Goa Human Rights Commission has directed the transport department to charge taxes on vehicles purchased by armed forces personnel based on the discounted canteen price, not the market value. This decision came after a complaint from an NCC officer who was overcharged for his vehicle registration.
