Election Commission issues notification for vice presidential polls, nomination process kicks off from today

The Election Commission has initiated the nomination process for the Vice President's election, following Jagdeep Dhankhar's resignation. With 788 MPs in the electoral college, both ruling NDA and opposition INDIA bloc are preparing to nominate candidates for the pivotal role.
