This book highlights the literary works and life of Dogri writers who’ve been awarded the prestigious Sahitya Akademi awards from 1970 to 2023. Among the prominent authors recorded are Narendra Khajuria, who was the first Dogri writer to receive the award for his collection of stories, ‘Nila Ambar Kaale Badal’, in 1970; Padma Sachdeva, who was bestowed the award for her book ‘Meri Kavita mere Geet’; and Ved Rahi, known for TV serials such as ‘Gul, Gulshan, Gulfam’.
