2 booked for making reel of stunt on auto rickshaw in Navi Mumbai

Turbhe police arrested Shamshud Ahmed, a mechanic, and auto driver Akshay Dhotre for performing a dangerous stunt on Khairane MIDC service road. Ahmed sat atop a moving auto rickshaw without a driver, while Dhotre filmed the act for Instagram. Authorities traced and booked them under relevant sections of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Motor Vehicle Act after the video surfaced.
