Texas floods uncover 115-million-year-old dinosaur footprints
Recent floods in Texas Hill Country have revealed rare, 110-115 million-year-old dinosaur footprints. The 15 three-clawed prints, discovered in Travis County, are believed to belong to Acrocanthosaurus, a 35-foot-long carnivorous dinosaur. Paleontologists are mapping and creating 3D images of the tracks, hoping to determine if they were made by a single dinosaur or a group.
