Residents of 2 villages clash over parking

Tension gripped Haryana-Rajasthan border as residents of two villages clashed over parking a bike today.

Locals of Mundka village in Nuh and Hajipur village in Alwar pelted stones at each other and set vehicles on fire after youngsters had heated arguments over parking of a motorcycle.

As youths belonging to different communities ran back to their respective villages, locals marched against each other carrying sticks and stones. As a result, more than 10 people suffered injuries and three bikes were set on fire.

A spokesperson of the Nuh police said, “People are trying to communalise the issue as residents of both villages belong to different communities. An argument over parking led to a clash. Some people suffered injuries due to stone pelting. We have stepped up the security and situation is under control.”
