Assam university’s Rs 30cr guest house turns luxury hotel, stirs row

Assam Agricultural University's international guesthouse, built for academic events, is now a luxury hotel. The facility, Rohika AAU-International Guest House, was leased to a private firm. Student and teacher bodies are against this decision. They argue the property should remain under public control. The veterinary college may soon become a full-fledged university.
