Independence Day gift: Mumbai Coastal Road to open 24x7 from Friday onwards; major part of promenade, 4 subways accessible from Saturday

Mumbai's Coastal Road will operate 24/7 starting Friday. A sea-facing promenade and pedestrian subways, part of the coastal road from Napean Sea Road to Worli, will be inaugurated on Thursday and accessible from Friday evening. Only 5.3km of the 7.5km promenade and four of nineteen subways will be initially opened.
