RBPU to boost students’ employment potential

JAMMU, Aug 14: Rayat Bahra Professional University (RBPU) Hoshiarpur, a self-financed educational institution today announced to provide job-oriented education aimed at enhancing the employment prospects of students in the region.

This was stated today by Gurvinder Singh Bahra, Chancellor of Rayat Bahra Professional University and Chairman of the Rayat Bahra Group, while addressing media persons here.
Speaking on the occasion, Bahra said the RBPU would deliver quality education and equip students with the skills needed to secure promising placements.
“Our professional courses are designed to make students employment-ready, giving them a competitive edge in the job market,” he said.
Highlighting future plans, Bahra disclosed that several new-age courses would soon be launched in collaboration with leading multinational companies to further enhance students’ employment potential.
“One of our distinctive features is the commitment to prepare students for employment even before they complete their academic programmes, ensuring they are well-positioned for placements,” he added.
Established in 2008, the RBPU campus spans 55 acres and is home to over 10,000 students.
Known for fostering a dynamic learning environment, it offers modern amenities such as comfortable hostels, well-equipped laboratories, extensive libraries and diverse sports facilities.
The campus focuses on academic excellence, industry-aligned programmes, research and holistic student development.
RBPU offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses across multiple disciplines, including Engineering, Pharmacy, Management, Education, Law, Nursing and Medical Diploma and Certificate programmes.
Acting Vice-Chancellor Dr Chander Mohan and other officials were also present during the conference.
