Zero tolerance for law, order violations, miscreants will face stern action, says CM
Chandigarh
Haryana Chief Minister (CM) Nayab Singh Saini today reiterated that the state government had adopted zero tolerance towards any lapse in law and order.
He underlined that ensuring a safe and secure environment for the people was the government’s top priority. The CM made it clear that any individual attempting to disrupt peace or create disorder would face stern action, regardless of his/her influence or position.
Saini made the comments while responding to media queries during a press conference held here today. He said the government was taking strict action against drug traffickers. “If drugs are being sold in any village, locality or city ward, residents should immediately file a complaint on the government portal. Strict action will be taken against the culprits, maintaining the informers’ identity,” the CM said.
Responding to a question, the CM said the government was committed to the health and well-being of the people of the state. To ensure that citizens do not have to rely on private hospitals, state-of-the-art infrastructure was being ensured in government hospitals across Haryana, he said, while adding that soon, 10 new district hospitals would be inaugurated.
On allegations of vote theft by Cong
The Chief Minister said the Congress’s allegations of “vote theft” were baseless. “The Congress is unnecessarily making it an issue, but such falsehoods will no longer work,” he said. He further said the Congress had tried to weaken Dr BR Ambedkar’s Constitution and promoted corruption. The Congress disrupted the proceedings of Parliament, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi closed all doors to corruption, he said, while adding that due to this, the frustrated Congress was levelling baseless allegations.
The Chief Minister said the Prime Minister had worked to empower the poor and make them economically strong.
