Mahindra Unveils Global Vision 2027 with Futuristic SUV Concepts & NU\_IQ Platform
Mahindra & Mahindra has launched its vision on the road to 2027 Global Vision which sees the brand take a step braver into the future of mobility, thereby introducing a gamechanger called the NU_IQ Modular Multi Energy platform. It is this new-generation architecture that will underpin a new generation of luxury SUVs, which will launch into 2027.
The company presented four concept futuristic SUVs, namely, Vision.S, Vision.T, Vision.SXT, and Vision.X, all of which demonstrated the changing design philosophy of the HEARTCORE at Mahindra. The concepts, conceived at the Mahindra Global Studios in Mumbai and Banbury, are based on the theme of Opposites Attract, which show enables one to see contrasting elements in one manifold which make them expressive and modern SUVs.
The NU_IQ platform can come with unrivaled versatility as it offers a variety of powertrains, front-wheel drive/all-wheel skid, and left-hand drive/Right-hand drive offering, and as such it will fit the Indian market and global markets. The command seating, expansive and flat-floor layout cabin, futuristic safety and sci-fi-inspired NU_UX technology are used as the key highlights.
According to Pratap Bose, Chief Design & Creative Officer, these SUVs are the beginning of a new era of HEARTCORE design that forms an emotional connection between people and the cars. In the interim, Mahindra also pointed out that its SUVs are designed to provide high performance, luxury and innovation without compromise carving out unexplored opportunities in the SUV market.
The launch of NU_IQ platform makes Mahindra ready to re-write the book of the premium SUV experience in the world and ensure that the company becomes a player to reckon with both in right-hand drive and the left-hand drive markets. It will be followed by the first production platforms in 2027 that will mark the first deliverable of Mahindra in terms of creating freedom through innovation and sustainable mobility.
