Over 24 shots fired at Elvish Yadav’s Gurugram home, attackers flee the scene

In a shocking incident, unidentified assailants opened fire at YouTuber Elvish Yadav’s home in Gurgaon. The incident took place early Sunday morning and the investigation in the matter is now underway. Police said the incident occurred between 5:30 and 6 a.m. today, when three men on bikes fired over two dozen rounds at Yadav’s Sector 57 residence before fleeing.

The bullets struck the ground and first floor of the house. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. Elvish, who lives on the second floor, was not at home when the attack took place. Only a few family members and the caretaker were present.

“Three masked miscreants opened fire outside the residence of YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav in Gurugram’s Sector 57. The incident took place at around 5:30 AM. More than a dozen rounds were fired. Elvish Yadav was not at his residence at the time of the firing,” Sandeep Kumar, PRO Gurugram Police, said.

As soon as the news reached the police, the officers rushed to the incident spot and collected forensic evidence. Now, the investigation in the matter is underway as the police have started to scan the CCTV footage from the area. While legal action has already started, further investigation will begin once a formal complaint from the family is recorded.

Yadav’s family members stated that he had not received any threats before the incident. The YouTuber is presently outside Haryana.

Elvish Yadav, 26, first gained popularity as a YouTuber before rising to greater fame by winning Bigg Boss OTT 2 in 2023. He has a huge fan base online and has also featured in music videos and films.
