Don Lee is back! Korean star's superhero series 'Twelve' to be launched in India on THIS date

After the immense success of the 2023 Korean superhero series Moving on Disney+ and Hulu, another highly anticipated Korean superhero series is about to be launched on the same platforms. The show features Don Lee/Ma Dong-seok, Park Hyung-sik, Seo In-guk, Sung Dong-il, Lee Joo-bin, Ko Kyu-pil, Ahn Ji-hye, Kang Mi-na, Regina Lei, and Sung Yoo-bin.

Ma Dong-seok's popular action credits include: Train to Busan, Derailed, The Roundup police action movie series, The Gangster, the Cop & the Devil, Unstoppable, and Badland Hunters. Interestingly, the actor had previously ventured into fantasy territory in Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds and its sequel Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days

What is 'Twelve' about?

Twelve is said to be a tale drawing influences from the 12 Eastern Zodiac animals, and revolves around 12 angels living in human disguise on Earth who are forced to team up to battle evil spirits that threaten the Korean Peninsula. It's not a battle they're fighting for the first time. A previous one was waged ages ago, where the evil spirits were defeated, but for some odd reason, the darkness returns to once again challenge the heroes.

When and where to see?

The eight-episode show will have its global streaming premiere on August 23, 2025, on Hulu and Hulu On Disney+ in the United States, and on Disney+ in the rest of the world. It will also air on KBS2 in Korea. In India, JioHotstar will launch the series on the same date.
