Bike-borne miscreants fire outside Elvish Yadav’s Gurugram residence
Panic gripped Gurugram’s Sector 57 early Sunday morning after unidentified miscreants opened fire outside the residence of YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav. Over two dozen rounds were fired around 5:25 am by two bike-borne men wearing helmets and masks.
Deadly attack
“This attack was a deadly attack on our family. If we had been outside at that time, we could have lost our lives. The attackers should be arrested and exposed publicly and our security ensured.”

The incident was captured on CCTV, which showed the attackers arriving on a motorcycle, firing from a distance and then leaning over the gate to continue shooting before fleeing. At the time of the attack, Elvish was away, but his family members were inside. No one was injured in the incident.
In a viral social media post, the Bhau gang claimed responsibility for the firing. Gangsters Neeraj Faridpur and Bhau Ritaulia alleged Yadav was targeted for promoting a betting app. “The bullets that were fired at Elvish Yadav’s house today were fired by us. He has ruined many houses by promoting betting apps. Other social media influencers promoting betting may face bullets or calls,” the post read.
However, Gurugram Police said the claims are still under investigation.
Elvish’s father, Ram Avtar Yadav, lodged a complaint at Sector 56 police station. “The attackers came on a bike. This attack was a deadly attack on our family. If we had been outside at that time, we could have lost our lives. We do not have any kind of enmity with anyone… the matter should be investigated seriously. Attackers should be arrested and exposed publicly and our security should be ensured,” he said.
Police registered an FIR under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Arms Act. A forensic team collected evidence, and CCTV footage is being examined. “Elvish was not here as he is out for work but we feel scared. The miscreants fired around 15 rounds. I hope Gurugram Police arrest the accused soon,” Yadav added.
Police suspect the involvement of three attackers. “Elvish Yadav was not in his flat during the firing incident. A police team has been deployed at his house for precaution. We are investigating all angles and the accused will be arrested soon,” a Gurugram Police spokesperson said.
The incident comes days after a similar firing outside singer Rahul Fazilpuria’s home. Both cases are being probed together, given the singers’ past collaboration.
Elvish Yadav, no stranger to controversy, has faced cases over a music video featuring snakes, a Noida party linked to snake venom, and alleged betting app promotion. The Enforcement Directorate had also summoned him in Lucknow.
