Indian cricket star batsman Virat Kohli is away from the cricket field these days and is spending time with his family in London. He is accompanied by his wife Anushka Sharma and children Vamika, Akay. Now a new video is going viral on social media, in which Kohli is seen roaming in the streets of London with his wife Anushka, carrying a black umbrella and a water bottle in his hand, and talking to the people there.

36-year-old Kohli played a key role in helping his franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) win their first IPL title after 18 years in Ahmedabad on June 4, 2025. Since then, he has not returned to India and is spending time with his family in London. He was last seen in London at an event of former all-rounder Yuvraj Singh.

Are Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma planning to settle in London?

According to several media reports, the couple has been reportedly planning to settle down in the United Kingdom. However, the couple didn’t react to the rumours. It is interesting to note that, on several occasions, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have been spotted several times strolling in the streets of London. In a podcast with Ranveer Allahbadia, Dr Sriram Nene, Madhuri Dixit’s husband, revealed the reason behind Anushka settling in London was the upbringing of their children. For the unversed, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli welcomed daughter Vamika on January 11, 2021, and son Akaay, who was born on February 15, 2024.

Sriram Nene revealed, “They (Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma) were thinking about moving to London because they can’t enjoy their success here. We appreciate what they go through because anything they do attracts attention. We almost become isolated. Anushka and Virat are lovely people, and they just want to raise their kids normally.”

Virat Kohli surprised all the fans by retiring from Test cricket on 12 May 2025. He said goodbye to his Test career by sharing a post on Instagram. In his 14-year-long career, he has played 123 Tests. During this, he scored 30 centuries and 31 half-centuries and scored 9230 runs. He has been the fourth-highest run scorer for India in the Test format.
