Yamaha Ray ZR and Fascino: Yamaha India has updated its popular scooters Ray ZR and Fascino with new features and colour options and introduced them in the market. Their starting price is Rs 79,340 (ex-showroom).
Yamaha Hybrid Scooter: Yamaha India has updated its 125cc hybrid scooter range Ray ZR and Fascino and launched them in the market. The company has made several major changes in both these scooters which make them better than the previous model. The company has updated both these hybrid scooters with its ISG system, new dashboard and color options, with starting prices of Rs 79,340 and Rs 80,750 (ex-showroom) respectively.
What is the update?
Yamaha’s new ‘Enhanced Power Assist’ system is a major update, which the brand claims gives faster acceleration, especially while driving on slopes or with a pillion. However, the company has not made any changes to its engine mechanism or power output compared to the previous model. This setup is operated by a high-performance battery.
The company says that both these scooters use the brand’s Smart Motor Generator (SMG) technology for better fuel efficiency and refinement. Apart from this, it also has features like silent start and stop and start system. Which helps it to provide smooth riding with better mileage.

New TFT display will be available
The company has now included a TFT color instrument cluster in the top-spec variant of Fascino S. Which also provides turn-by-turn navigation through the Yamaha-Connect smartphone app. The company says that this system is integrated with Google Maps and displays real-time directions on the display. During this time, you also get other alerts like street names etc.
New colors will be available
The Fascino S 125 FI Hybrid is now available in matte grey color. Its disc-brake variant has a metallic light green finish, while the drum-brake variant comes in metallic white color option. The Ray ZR Street Rally Hybrid has been introduced in matte grey metallic color. While its disc variant is available in silver white cocktail shade.
