Nehru signed IWT without consulting Parliament: Nadda

BJP president JP Nadda criticized the 1960 Indus Waters Treaty, calling it a major blunder by then Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. Nadda claimed Nehru unilaterally gave Pakistan 80% of the Indus basin waters, compromising India's water security. He highlighted opposition to the treaty at the time and praised PM Modi for putting it in abeyance, correcting a historical wrong.
