Parliament Session Erupts As Opposition Protests Alleged Vote Theft, Demands Discussion

The ongoing Parliament Session has been disrupted once again as the Opposition intensified its protest over the alleged Vote Theft issue. For the past four weeks, continuous demonstrations have been seen both inside the Parliament and in its premises. The central demand from the Opposition is to allow a discussion on the SIR (Special In Terms Of Vision) controversy in either the Lok Sabha or Rajya Sabha. According to the Opposition, the issue is extremely serious because voters’ rights are being compromised and the Election Commission must be held accountable. However, the Government maintains that this matter is purely an Election Commission process and cannot be debated in Parliament since the Election Commission itself cannot appear to answer questions. As a result, the deadlock persists. Today, proceedings in the Rajya Sabha were adjourned amid chaos, while efforts to continue Lok Sabha business were obstructed by Opposition members staging protests in the Well.Key leaders like Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav have also taken the issue to Bihar, where they are leading campaigns against alleged voter manipulation. With sharp accusations of Vote Theft echoing in the House, political observers expect the impasse to continue.
