It is encouraging to see some states leading in system usage. However, widespread adoption is vital. Police forces must prioritise both the input of local intelligence and the use of this powerful tool. Without timely and verified data sharing, even the best infrastructure falls short.
NATGRID’s success will depend on how seriously state governments and police forces treat it—not as an optional aid, but as a core component of law enforcement. A unified, proactive approach will ensure a safer, better-prepared India.
