577 patients examined at AYUSH medical camp
In line with the directives from the Director of Ayurveda, Punjab and under the guidance of District Ayurvedic & Unani Officer Dr Kusum Gupta, a free AYUSH medical camp was held at the Arogya Centre in Bhagwana village near Phagwara.
The camp was inaugurated by village Sarpanch Balwinder Kumar along with other prominent local residents. A team of specialist doctors conducted consultations for 577 patients—293 under Ayurveda and 284 under Homeopathy. After the examinations, free medicines were distributed to all those in need.
The camp provided treatment for various ailments, including fever, cough, digestive disorders, gynaecological issues, blood pressure and diabetes. It also encouraged the adoption of Ayurvedic remedies for improved health.
Among those present were Ayurvedic doctors Dr Prem Pal, Dr Kulwant Singh, and Dr Sunita; Homeopathic Medical Officers Dr Ankush Aggarwal and Dr Raminder Singla; dispensers Rajkumar and Varinder Kumar; sub-vaid Pawan Kumar; Malti Devi; former Sarpanch Desraj Mehta; Panch members Ram Lubhaya and Sachin Kumar; along with villagers and other dignitaries such as Dr Pinky, Kala Mehta, Harmesh Jeet, Ram Pal, Navjot Singh, Nirmal Chand and Prabhjot.
