'Asim Munir's confession of Pakistan's failure': Rajnath Singh takes a dig at dump truck remark

Reacting to Pakistan Army chief Asim Munir's much-trolled claim that India is a shining Mercedes coming on a highway, while Pakistan is a dump truck full of gravel, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said he considers this statement by the Pakistan Army chief a "confession."
Munir had made the remarks during his second visit to the US. If the truck hits the car, who is going to be the loser, Munir had asked. Munir's analogy was intended to suggest that although India is seen as an economically and technologically advanced nation, if a collision occurred, the "dump truck" (Pakistan) could still inflict damage, citing the resilience and potential threat Pakistan poses—especially with its nuclear arsenal.
Singh said he does not consider the statement by Munir as mere troll material.
"India's economy is like a Mercedes and a Ferrari running on the highway. He said, I am not saying. Pakistan's economy is like a dump truck full of debris. Now you people know the answer to this," Singh said.
"Now, Asim Munir was trolled a lot for this statement both inside Pakistan and all over the world. Everyone said if two countries got independence at the same time and one country built a Ferrari-like economy through hard work, right policies and foresight, and the other is still in a dumper state, then it is their own failure," the defence minister said. Singh added that he, however, considers this statement by Munir as a confession and not some troll material.
If we do not pay attention to the historical indication behind this serious warning, then it can become a matter of concern for us, Singh said and added, "And yes, if we pay attention to this and prepare for it, then India is capable of giving a befitting reply to such warnings."
