A new name for Prithviraj Sukumaran's next? First look poster reveals updated title of Nisam Basheer film

The new film from director Nisam Basheer recently went on floors with Prithviraj Sukumaran and Parvathy Thiruvothu as the leads. When the project was first announced, the makers had revealed the title as 'Nobody'. However, on Saturday, on the occasion of Nissam's birthday, Prithviraj and the entire team shared the first-look poster which reveals an updated title: I, Nobody

The poster has Prithviraj with an office bag facing a police barricade in the aftermath of a seemingly intense situation, evocative of a clash with protestors. The actor may be playing either a common man or a civil servant, as hinted by his overall appearance.

The film is backed by Supriya Menon under the banner of Prithviraj Productions and Mukesh Mehta and CV Sarathi under the banner of E4 Experiments.

Nisam Basheer, known for the films Rorschach (with Mammootty) and Kettyolaanu Ente Malakha (with Asif Ali), is reteaming with Sameer Abdul, who penned Rorschach.

Aside from Prithviraj and Parvathy, the film will also feature Hakkim Shajahana, Ashokan, Madhupal, Lukman Avaran, Ganapathi and Vinay Forrt.

In a statement shared by E4 Entertainment at the time of production commencement, they promised a "compelling cinematic experience, blending intensity, emotion and power-packed performances."

I, Nobody will have music composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar, known for his work in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal.

The technical team comprises Dinesh Purushothaman as the director of photography, and Gokul Das as the production designer.

The film marks another reunion of Prithviraj and Parvathy, who previously worked together in Koode, My Story, and Ennu Ninte Moideen.

Prithviraj Productions and E4 Entertainment recently collaborated on another Prithviraj-starrer, Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil, which co-starrer Basil Joseph. E4 Experiments is an offshoot of the company.

The project holds much promise given Nisam Basheer's successful track record. Both Rorschach and Kettiyolaanu Ente Malakha made significant noise at the box office and were widely discussed by serious film buffs at the time of release.

Prithviraj is coming off the blockbuster success of L2: Empuraan, which he directed and starred in. He is also working in SS Rajamouli's Mahesh Babu-starrer and Malayalam director Vysakh's Khalifa. The production for both films are ongoing.

Prithviraj recently wrapped up the shoot of debutant Jayan Nambiar's Vilayath Buddha. Nambiar is a protege of the late Sachy, who directed Prithviraj in Ayyappanum Koshiyum and Anarkali.

Parvathy's recent appearances were in the critically acclaimed Ullozhukku, in addition to Pa. Ranjith's Tamil film Thangalaan (with Chiyaan Vikram) and Her.
