New Metro Stations: 11 new stations will be built on Noida Metro’s Aqua Line, know when it will start

Aqua Metro Line Extension: Noida Metro’s Aqua Line will extend 17.435 km to Greater Noida West, will have 11 stations, cost Rs 2,991.60 crore, construction will start soon after PIB approval, four lakh people will benefit.

Aqua Metro Line Extension: Preparations have begun to extend the Aqua Line of Noida Metro to Greater Noida West. Preparations are underway for the presentation of this project in the Public Investment Board (PIB). This extension will greatly benefit the people of Noida and Greater Noida.

This project will be completed in two phases. In the first phase, the metro line will be built from Sector-51 to Sector-2 and in the second phase, it will be extended from Greater Sector-2 to Greater Sector-5. More than four lakh people will directly benefit from this project. Currently, the Aqua Line runs from Sector-51 to Greater Noida Depot and will be extended to Sector-142.

Total cost of the project

The total length of this metro line will be 17.435 km and it will have 11 stations. Noida will have a route of 3.33 km, in which 3 stations will be built. At the same time, Greater Noida will have a route of 14.105 km, in which there will be 8 stations. The estimated cost of this project is Rs 2,991.60 crore. In this, Noida’s expenditure will be 33 percent and Greater Noida’s expenditure will be 67 percent. About 1.23 lakh people are expected to travel on this route every day.

These stations will be included in the metro route

The funding arrangement for this project has also been decided. Both the Government of India and the Government of Uttar Pradesh will give 12.97-12.97 percent of the money. Apart from this, NCR Planning Board will give 44.98 percent, Greater Noida Authority will give 10.04 percent and Noida Authority will give 5 percent fund. Some part will also come from GIA and GeoUP. In this way the money for the project will be completed.

There will be many important stations on the metro route. Sector-51 is already a running station. Apart from this, Sector-61 will be made an interchange hub. Other stations include Sector-70, Sector-122, Sector-123, Greater Sector-4, Ecotech-12, Greater Sector-2, Greater Sector-3, Greater Sector-10, Greater Sector-12 and Knowledge Park-5. These stations will make travel easier for the people of Noida and Greater Noida.

Construction will start soon

To start this project, approval from PIB will have to be taken first. For this, a presentation can be given in the last week of November or the first week of December. If everything goes well, construction will start in three months and civil work can be completed by the end of next year. According to the Dainik Jagran report, Mahendra Prasad, Executive Director of Noida Metro Rail Corporation, said that a new route is being prepared through Greater Noida Extension. This project will reduce the traffic problem between Noida and Greater Noida and will give people a chance to travel fast and comfortably. This project will also make a big contribution to the development of the region.
