OpenAI to add parental controls to ChatGPT after teen suicide: From notifications to account linking — what’s included?

OpenAI announced parental controls for ChatGPT following a lawsuit filed by a couple whose son allegedly received harmful advice from the chatbot before his suicide. However, the couple's attorney criticised the measures as ‘generic’.
