When will 'Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra' Hindi version hit theatres? Kalyani Priyadarshan starrer set to break more records

Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, a female-led superhero film, crossed Rs 100 crore on Wednesday to enter the club in just seven days. Now the Kalyani Priyadarshan starrer is set to mint more money as it is set to release in Hindi.
The film has already minted gold at Kerala box office with its Malayalam version, outperforming Mohanlal's Onam offering Hridayapoorvam. It has also won hearts in Telugu and Tamil.
When will Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra Hindi version hit theatres?
Dulquer Salmaan's Wayfarer Films, which has produced Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, revealed that the Hindi version of the Dominic Arun directorial will hit the theatres on September 4, 2025.
Dulquer himself took to X, posting, "The world of 'Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra' is expanding. Hindi version releases in theatres on September 4th! Book your tickets now."
The positive word of mouth has lured moviegoers to throng theatres during the Onam holidays. Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra is the third film to mint Rs 100 crore in 2025 after Mohanlal starrers Empuraan and Thudarum. In Kerala, Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra has performed well in Kollam, Kochi, Thrissur, Kottayam and Kozhikode.
Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra stoked controversy in Karnataka after a dialogue delivered by Sandy's character, Inspector Nachiyappa Gowda, addresses Bengaluru girls derogatively. The makers apologised to Kannada viewers and promised to tweak the dialogue that has "unintentionally hurt the sentiments of people from Karnataka".
"It has come to our attention that a dialogue delivered by one of the characters in our film Lokah: Chapter One has unintentionally hurt the sentiments of people from Karnataka. At Wayfarer Films, we place people above everything else," read a post by Dulquer's Wayfarer Films on its official Instagram handle.
The superhero film also has a star cast of Naslen, Chandu Salim Kumar, Arun Kurian and Santhi Balachandran.
