Tripura Police Investigate Rs 16 Crore Fraud at Agartala Municipal Corporation

Tripura Police are investigating a massive financial fraud where over Rs 16 crore was siphoned from the Agartala Municipal Corporation's UCO Bank account using cloned cheques. The scam, which occurred between August 5 and September 2, involved fraudulent RTGS transactions. UCO Bank has filed an FIR, suspecting the involvement of insiders from both the bank and AMC.
