Step-by-step process to download Aadhaar on WhatsApp

  • Save +91-9013151515 in your phone as “MyGov Helpdesk”.
  • Open WhatsApp and start a chat with this contact.
  • Write “Namaste” or “Hi” in the chat.
  • Select “DigiLocker Services” from the given options.
  • You will be asked if you have a DigiLocker account. If not, first create an account in DigiLocker.
  • Now enter your 12 digit Aadhaar number.
  • An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number, enter it in the chat.
  • Once the verification is complete, the chatbot will show you all the documents present in DigiLocker.
  • To select Aadhaar from the list, type its number.
  • Within a few seconds, your Aadhaar card will be available on WhatsApp chat in PDF format.
