Health stable, CM likely to be discharged in 2 days
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s health is now stable with remarkable improvement since he was admitted to a private hospital in Mohali last night.
A statement issued by the hospital said that CM Mann continued to show improvement. “His vital signs remain stable, and his blood parameters are improving gradually. He is under observation,” it said.
AAP incharge of Punjab affairs Manish Sisodia, who was among the first ones to meet Mann at the hospital this morning, said the CM would be released from the hospital in a day or two, as he has been advised rest.
“But he is extremely concerned about Punjab and Punjabis who are facing devastation due to floods. Mann told me that he cannot wait to get better and start working for the welfare of people… he is keeping a check on the situation even in his sickness, ” said Sisodia.
Among others who visited the hospital to meet the CM on Saturday were his cabinet colleagues Harpal Cheema, Hardeep Singh Mandian, Gurmeet Singh Khudian and AAP Punjab president Aman Arora.
Mann was admitted to the hospital as he had been running high fever for three days, reportedly caused by a bacterial infection. Mann had also complained of exhaustion.
