4 booked for illegal cattle trafficking in Karnataka

Amasebailu police intercepted a vehicle at Hosangadi check post, discovering two buffaloes being transported illegally for slaughter. The animals were found tightly packed without food or water. Authorities arrested Basavaraj, Meghraj, Lohith, and Imran, seizing the Rs 4 lakh vehicle and the Rs 30,000 worth buffaloes. A case has been registered against the accused under relevant sections of the law.
