According to latest updates on Sacnilk.com, the Bengal Files earned Rs 2.75 crore on Sunday, marking the highest earnings for the film so far. On its opening Friday, the film collected Rs 1.75 crore, followed by Rs 2.15 crore on Saturday. So far, the film’s total box office collection stands at Rs 6.65 crore.
The Bengal Files had an overall 38.95% Hindi Occupancy on Sunday. Morning shows witnessed moderate 24.68% occupancy, which rose to 49.52% in afternoon and 52.15% in evening- the best performing slot of the day. Night shows dropped slightly to 29.44%. The film is yet to register any growth at the box office. According to trade analysts, its weekday collections will be more crucial.
On Day 3, Tiger Shroff’s action-packed thriller Baaghi 4 has surpassed Vivek Agnihotri’s The Bengal Files with a huge margin. After a solid opening, the film registered Rs 9.49 crore on Sunday, bringing its overall three-day collection to Rs 30.74 crore, as per entertainment tracking portal Sacnilk.
