Agilent and ICAR-NRC Grapes expand collaboration to boost India’s food safety

New Delhi: Agilent Technologies India and ICAR–National Research Centre for Grapes (NRCG), Pune, have entered the next phase of their collaboration to strengthen India’s food safety ecosystem through advanced analytical science and regulatory engagement.
The partnership will enhance India’s position as a trusted global grape exporter by co-developing workflows for pesticide residue and fumigant analysis, aligned with global standards. It also emphasizes sustainability, precision, and scalability to meet growing food export demands.
Beyond technology, the collaboration will drive knowledge exchange through workshops, webinars, and technical publications, helping build capacity among food safety professionals and promoting validated methods across government and commercial labs.
“This partnership is not just about technology—it’s about building trust and enabling transformation,” said Nandakumar Kalathil, Country General Manager, Agilent Technologies India.
