'Upset over her relationship': Father strangles 17-yr-old in sleep

In Davalwadi village, Jalna, a farmer was arrested for allegedly strangling his 17-year-old daughter on September 5. The incident occurred because he disapproved of her relationship with a young man from their community. After the alleged murder, the father attempted to stage the scene to appear as a suicide by hanging her.
