Historic Service Initiative by Terapanth South Mumbai Parishad on Ganpati Visarjan Day
On the auspicious occasion of Anant Chaturthi, Terapanth Yuvak Parishad South Mumbai, in association with Bharat Vikas Parishad – Mumbai Central Branch, carried out a remarkable service initiative at Sikka Nagar, V.P. Road, Mumbai. Thousands of devotees were served free water, juice, snacks, biscuits, and over 3,000 Pepsi bottles along with 1,000 liters of water.
Alongside the service, the Parishad also promoted the upcoming Mega Blood Donation Drive (MBDD), encouraging people to participate in the camps scheduled at CSMT Railway Station, Churchgate Railway Station, Mumbai Central DRM Office, and Dagina Bazaar Association Hall on 17th September, 2025. Awareness about blood donation was spread through pamphlets, banners, and hoardings.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from council members, women’s wing, youth volunteers, and supporters. Several dignitaries from political and social organizations, including representatives of BJP, NCP, Jain Shwetambar Terapanthi Sabha south Mumbai and Bharat Vikas Parishad, graced the occasion with their presence.
This unique blend of service, collaboration, and awareness for blood donation has etched a memorable chapter in the history of Terapanth Yuvak Parishad South Mumbai Parishad.
