Nitanshi Goel to star opposite Govinda’s son Yashvardhan Ahuja in his Bollywood debut?

Actress Nitanshi Goel, who garnered immense praise for her powerful performance in Laapataa Ladies, has been away from the spotlight for a while. Her fans have been eagerly waiting for an update about her next big project - and it seems the wait might soon be over. As per a recent report, Nitanshi is all set to be seen opposite Yashvardhan Ahuja, the son of Bollywood icon Govinda, in his much-awaited debut film.
A Promising New Pairing in Bollywood
According to Mid-Day, Nitanshi Goel has bagged the lead role in the film that will mark Yashvardhan Ahuja’s grand Bollywood debut. The project also holds significance as it is expected to mark the return of filmmaker Sajid Khan to the director’s chair after nearly seven years.
Sajid Khan’s Return to Direction
Sajid Khan, known for directing several comedy hits, stepped away from the limelight following multiple allegations of sexual harassment during the MeToo movement in India. The Indian Film and Television Directors’ Association imposed a ban on him, which was later revoked after a year.
In 2022, Sajid made a brief comeback to the public eye as a contestant on Bigg Boss. Now, buzz suggests that he is preparing for a directorial comeback, taking charge of the yet-untitled film that will feature Yashvardhan Ahuja alongside Nitanshi Goel and South actor Krithi Shetty.
Comedy-driven Script and Casting Details
A source close to the development revealed, “Sajid has been approached by the studio, but he hasn’t given his confirmation yet. The studio heads are keen to have him onboard as the film’s comedic tone perfectly fits his forte.”
Meanwhile, Yashvardhan also has another project lined up with Phantom Studios, co-starring Rasha Thadani, daughter of actress Raveena Tandon. However, reports suggest that the Nitanshi Goel-Yashvardhan Ahuja film is likely to take off first.
Earlier Plans That Didn’t Materialize
Interestingly, Sajid Khan was earlier supposed to direct a film featuring John Abraham, but the project was eventually shelved. If things fall into place this time, Sajid’s comeback could mark a significant chapter - not just for him but also for two promising newcomers, Nitanshi Goel and Yashvardhan Ahuja, who are set to bring a fresh energy to the big screen.
