The event saw the participation of Baijayant 'Jay' Panda, BJP National Vice-President and MP from Kendrapara, who interacted with local leaders and party workers from Raisunguda Mandal in Cuttack district.

The meeting was informal, but the agenda was strategic — to strengthen organisational structure at the grassroots level and boost morale among the cadre.

Several key party figures, including Cuttack district BJP president Ram Narayan Mohanty and local BJP leader Arindam Roy, were also present at the meeting.

During the session, Panda emphasised the importance of unity, discipline, and outreach, giving the attendees organisational mantras to energise the party workers much ahead of the upcoming elections.

The event highlighted the BJP's attempt to build deeper community ties through innovative formats that blend casual conversation with serious strategy.

“Our MP Baijayant Panda came to Raisunguda Mandal today, and an informal meeting 'Tiffin Pe Charcha' was held. Committee members and key Mandal members were present on the occasion. The MP discussed several issues in our area,” Arindam Roy said.

“He (the MP) enquired about the local problems. He has given his commitments to us. He also assured us to hold more such informal meetings in the future to discuss local issues. Party workers are motivated and excited,” local BJP leader Roy stated.

“Organisational activities of the party will be intensified in the days ahead in Raisunguda Mandal and the Tangi-Salepur Assembly constituency segment,” Arindam Roy added.
