Massive Indian rock python spotted in Jajpur district after devouring goat

A massive 10-ft Indian rock python caused a stir in Bidyadharpur village after it was found having consumed a goat. Villagers gathered to witness the reptile, which later retreated into the forest. Forest officials clarified that no compensation is provided for livestock killed by pythons, only by larger predators. They suspect the snake was hungry after emerging from hibernation.
