The sudden death of bodybuilder Varinder Singh Ghuman has left everyone wondering what happened to him. He was the country’s first professional vegan bodybuilder.

The sudden death of Punjabi actor and bodybuilder Varinder Singh Ghuman has shocked the film industry and those associated with the bodybuilding profession. He had been hospitalized with shoulder pain and suffered a heart attack after surgery, passing away within two hours on Friday. Ghuman was the world’s first strictly vegetarian professional bodybuilder, having built his physique without consuming non-vegetarian food. Ghuman also earned considerable fame for his work in films like Tiger 3, Dabangg, Kabaddi Once Again, and Marjaavaan.

Ghuman’s manager, while providing details of the incident, stated that Varinder had shoulder pain and was admitted to a private hospital in Amritsar for a checkup. He underwent a routine surgery and was expected to be discharged the same day.

The hospital said in a statement, “After examination, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair with biceps tenodesis was recommended. He had no prior medical conditions. He underwent surgery under general anesthesia on October 9th. The operation was completed around 3 a.m., and he was in stable condition.”

But at 3:35 a.m., he suddenly suffered a cardiac arrest. According to the medical statement, he was immediately given all necessary treatment after experiencing a sudden cardiac arrhythmia. Despite all efforts, he died at 5:36 a.m.

A Pure Vegetarian Professional Bodybuilder

Ghuman is said to be the country’s first pure vegetarian professional bodybuilder. It is claimed that he developed his strong physique without relying on non-vegetarian food. He also won several major bodybuilding competitions in India and abroad.

Actor Salman Khan expressed his grief over the sudden death of bodybuilder Varinder Singh Ghuman. He expressed his feelings through a social media post. He also shared a photo from the shooting of the film Dabangg, in which the two are seen together. Salman described him as a wonderful person.
