It is said – Don’t be afraid of failure, but rather be afraid of not trying. Because those who try never lose. Coming from a poor farmer family, Priyal Yadav’s (Priyal Singh Rathore after marriage) success story is no less than an inspiration for many girls. Priyal, once in 11th grade, is today a Deputy Collector in Madhya Pradesh. She has cracked the MPPSC exam not once or twice, but three times.
From the shocking failure of failing to pass 11th grade to becoming a Deputy Collector in her home state of Madhya Pradesh , Priyal Yadav has come a long way. Her story can inspire anyone who aspires to a successful career despite setbacks and setbacks.
Priyal Yadav originally comes from a humble farming family in Harda district, Madhya Pradesh. Her father is a farmer and her mother is a homemaker. She has stated in interviews that her mother studied only until the seventh or eighth grade, while her father is a third-grade graduate. Despite this, they sent Priyal away to study in Indore.
Priyal was a brilliant student from childhood. She scored 90% in 10th grade. But after passing 10th grade, a decision went wrong. She decided to pursue the medical stream at the urging of relatives, which resulted in her failing in 11th grade.
Priyal had said in an interview, “I was a topper till class 10th. However, due to pressure from relatives, I chose Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in class 11th, even though I had no interest in these subjects, and I failed in Physics.”
Priyal credits her success to her parents, who supported her in her studies and, despite coming from a rural background, never let her lack anything. Furthermore, in a society where girls are married off very early, her parents never pressured her into it. In an interview, she said, “I come from a rural area where girls are married off at a young age, but my parents never pressured me to marry. They gave me complete freedom to pursue my studies.”
