West Bengal Congress constitutes committee to ‘safeguard of voting rights, citizenship’

Constituted amidst reports of an impending Special Intensive Revision of the State’s electoral rolls, the committee will coordinate the party’s activities surrounding the SIR as well as citizenship matters such as the National Register of Citizens and the Citizenship Amendment Act
