Soldier dies in road accident

An Army man was killed in a road accident at Dargela village of Shahpur Assembly constituency in Kangra on Friday. Deceased Sumit Kumar (30), son of Uttam Chand, was serving in Jammu and Kashmir and had come home on leave to celebrate the Karva Chauth festival with family.

The police said Sumit’s lost control over his motorcycle at a sharp turn. He was declared declared dead on arrival Shahpur hospital.
