Amitabh Bachchan recently turned a year older, and wishes poured in from everywhere. But the one wish that was extremely special for Big B came from his granddaughter, Aaradhya. Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Aishwarya Rai shared an old photo of Big B with Aaradhya.
In the photo, the pair shared an adorable moment. Amitabh took the selfie while young Aaradhya Bachchan leaned her head on his shoulder, beaming with a smile. Sharing the photo, Aishwarya wrote, “Happy Birthday dearest Pa-Dadajiii (dad-grandfather). Love and God bless always.”

The post came as one of the rare updates in a very long time since rumours of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya heading for a divorce took the internet by storm last year.
The divorce rumours started when Aishwarya and Aaradhya attended Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s event all by themselves, while the rest of the family — including Amitabh, Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek, Shweta, Agastya Nanda, and Navya Nanda — attended together. However, the rumours were soon dismissed when Aishwarya and Abhishek were seen together at multiple public events.
