'Court Framed Charges Against Lalu Prasad', Says Tejashwi in Land-for-Job Case | ABP News
Amid the Bihar Assembly elections, the RJD faces a major legal setback as the Rauz Avenue Court has framed charges against party supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, and other accused in the land-for-job scam. The charges include IPC 420 (cheating), IPC 120B (criminal conspiracy), and Sections 13(2) and 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, the latter two applying specifically to Lalu Yadav. When asked by the court if he admitted to the charges, Lalu, along with Rabri and Tejashwi Yadav, refused to plead guilty, stating they would face the trial. Rabri Yadav termed the case as “wrong” but affirmed readiness to confront the legal proceedings.
