Banned Items in Delhi Metro: The Delhi Metro is considered the safest of all modes of transport. Once inside a metro station, a person is not only under the security cover of CISF personnel but also under the surveillance of DMRC CCTV cameras. A video recently went viral in which a parent and child were not allowed to travel with a toy gun on the Delhi Metro.
While people are making various comments on this matter, the DMRC takes no chances with the safety of passengers. According to information provided by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) regarding security arrangements on the metro, CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) is responsible for maintaining strong security and enforcing rules within the metro premises. CISF personnel not only thoroughly check passengers traveling on trains but also their luggage.
