'Bridgerton' Season 4: Netflix to release upcoming season in two parts. Details here

Netflix has announced that the fourth season of Bridgerton will opt for a two-part premiere. Part-1 of the period romance drama will stream on January 29, 2026 and Part-2 on February 26.

Based on Julia Quinn's best-selling book series of the same title, the series is created by Chris Van Dusen.

Since its debut in 2020, each of the three previous seasons has ranked among Netflix’s Most Popular lists, with Seasons 1 and 3 sitting at #5 and #7 after their release. The fan-favourite prequel, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story, had dominated the Global Top 10.

The next season will focus on Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson, the bohemian second son of the Bridgerton family. The latest news from the ton came in the form of an exciting clip featuring the never-settling son as he falls for the mysterious Lady in Silver, whose name is Sophie Baek, at Lady Bridgerton’s famous masquerade ball.

Alongside Thompson and Ha, the cast of Bridgerton Season 4 features Bailey as Anthony Bridgerton, Simone Ashley as Kate Bridgerton, Adjoa Andoh as Lady Danbury, Nicola Coughlan as Penelope Bridgerton, Dodd as Francesca Stirling, Gemmell as Violet Bridgerton, Florence Hunt as Hyacinth Bridgerton, Claudia Jessie as Eloise Bridgerton, and Newton as Colin Bridgerton.

“What’s striking about Season 4,” Thompson tells Netflix, “is the struggle between a proper old-school fairy tale, the romance of it, and the actual reality of the world.” Season 4 reveals the intricacies of the extravagant households of the ton and introduces some of the people who keep these aristocratic clans running. “Both are true,” Thompson continues. “You have to hold both the romance and the reality in your hand. In its best version, ‘true love’ happens in the middle of that.”

Meanwhile, Seasons 5 and 6 have already been greenlit and entered into production.
