Drug peddler arrested

UDHAMPUR, Oct 14: Police arrested a drug peddler in Roun Domail area and recovered a significant quantity of heroin from his possession.
During patrolling duty near Duddhar Bridge, a police party of Police Post Roun Domail intercepted the accused, who was moving from Manwal towards Roun Domail. During his personal search, approximately 03.77 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession.
The accused has been identified as Rohit Kumar, son of Subash Chander, resident of Dhanu, Udhampur.
In this regard, case FIR No. 366/2025, under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Udhampur and investigation has been set into motion for ascertaining backward and forward linkages of the drug peddling.
