As part of the Vigilance Awareness Week outreach initiatives, South Western Railway (SWR) organized a series of inter-school competitions aimed at promoting the core values of honesty, integrity, and transparency among students.
A total of 102 students from various schools participated enthusiastically in the events. The Elocution Competition saw the active participation of 52 students, while 24 students displayed their artistic talent in the Drawing Competition, and 26 students expressed their ideas on ethical values through the Essay Writing Competition.
These events provided a platform for young minds to reflect on the significance of ethical behavior and the collective responsibility of building a corruption-free society.
A. Annadurai, Senior Deputy General Manager & Chief Vigilance Officer, South Western Railway, presented awards to the winners. Senior officers from the Vigilance Department also participated in the event and interacted with the students, encouraging them to uphold integrity and transparency in all walks of life.
