The Charlotte Hornets have waived veteran guard Spencer Dinwiddie just days before the 2025-26 NBA regular season begins. This move was made to comply with the league's 15-player roster limit. Dinwiddie, signed in July, did not play a regular-season game for the Hornets after appearing in only a couple of preseason contests.
